The truth hurts.

A few days ago my ex texted me to ask me about something which blew my mind. And the question were "If I didn't know the whole story, would you tell me the truth or just keep it to yourself? Would you make it all better again?"

Gulp. 

You wanna know what my reaction is? I mean my answer for those questions.. 

Here goes, 

"First of all, you can't handle the truth. No matter how much you convince yourself you can but still, no. You can't. I'm trying to be real here. Some things are better left unsaid. If I want to fix things up, and be with you again, all I need to do is to shut up. I know you might say you deserve to know the truth, but as what I told you, you can't handle it. So it's better to leave it there, and we build a new chapter. Even if it might sound not fair to you, but I don't think you would be okay, I don't think you would eternally forget everything after you knew what I did behind your back right? So when I decided to not telling you the truth, it's not because I'm scared you would find out and leave me. I'm scared you would get hurt, and the wound won't heal."
